Action plan for LED City.

Background : Energy Saving is the need of the hour to protect our new born state and environment. This can also generate employment. One unit of energy saved is 2 units of energy generated.Also, energy saving costs less money than generation.

Activities proposed:

1 . Initially it has to be announced in the staff meeting and one committee should be formed to over see the activities of the LED City.It should be also convinced that it is part of establishing a smart city.

2.One consultative work shop should be organised involving important leaders of the city,corporators, enterprenuers and different departments.

3. Media partners shall be appointed from print media , electronic media and local channels.

4.EoI has to be called to make the city LED city from the LED Companies. Also ,they should indicate the project taken up under Corporate Social Responsibility.They should also indicate the prices of LED Lights of different wattage and their luminescence.   The guarantee period should be also indicated.

5.In case of more than one partner qualifies in the technical bid, discretion should exist to engage more than one company, so as to complete the work immediately. 

6 . Work order shall be issued to the successful bidders.

7.Appointing the ward officers for implementing the programme.

8 . taking the help of retired officials for implementing the programme.

9 . Having the regular reviews with the implementing companies.

10.Taking the help of SLFs and TLFs.

11.Taking the help of locality associations and RWAs.

12.Sorting out the problems of the implementing companies.

13.Implementing the Energy security programme on the lines of food security for the poor people.
